"Make Peace or Die" is the story of U.S. Marine Corps veteran Anthony Marquez of 1st Battalion 5th Marines.

Anthony returned from Afghanistan after losing 17 men on the unit's 2011 deployment to Sangin. Deeply wounded and riddled with survivor’s guilt, he made it his mission to help heal each of the Gold Star families of each Marine lost by carving and hand-delivering battlefield crosses. In doing so, he also attempt to heal himself.
