This spiritually-informed training event is designed to help prepare community members, church leaders, and clergy to provide support and resources for Veterans and others struggling with crisis situations. Join us at South Tulsa Baptist Church for a day of learning, sharing, and spreading awareness about suicide. Our trainers from the Eastern Oklahoma VA Healthcare System will cover important topics such as risk and protective factors for suicide, recognizing warnings signs, and what to do when speaking to someone who is experiencing a suicidal crisis. This event is open to all individuals interested in learning more about mental health and suicide prevention. Let's come together to make a positive impact on our community!

The training will be located in the South Tulsa Baptist Church Chapel. Attendees can park in the front lot closest to Sheridan Road and enter through the Chapel Entrance. Light refreshments will be provided.
